Council Finances & Policy
The Parish Council is financed through the Parish Precept. The precept is collected by Cheshire East Council as part of the Council Tax and for 2026/27 the precept is £27,900, on a tax base of 874.77 which equates to £31.89 for a Band D property. The figure is reached by dividing the precept by the tax base, as approved by Cheshire East. An increase of just 0.7% on the previous year and well below the current rate of inflation.
Payments made by the Council are published in the Council’s minutes and the Council does not own any land or buildings. You can view copies of the Annual Audit and full Accounts for complete financial years to the right.
